Two friends from Kolkata, both obsessed with travel, found themselves deep inside a jungle in North Bengal that no travel agency had ever taken them to. They'd planned it themselves, figured out the permits, found the local guides, discovered the riverside camp.
On the last night — sitting by a campfire at the Bhutan border — one of them said: "Why is no one offering this? Why is every Dooars package the same boring route?"
